Divorce
When you face the often painful process of divorce you must have an attorney who is committed to protecting your rights, whether those rights be as an individual to assets of the marriage which you worked so hard to accumulate and protect, or your rights as a parent. My wisdom and experience are placed at your disposal to assist you in making the choices which you will live with for some time to come. It is important that you have a clear understanding of all issues which you will confront and I will work with you in order that you may make the right choices for you personally. I have no fear of aggressively tackling tough issues or opponents, if that is what is required in your case.

Divorce is rarely a pleasant experience. I understand this and strive to make it as painless as is possible under your unique circumstances. Many times the marital relationship which brought you to divorce included abuse of violence, whether it be physical, emotional or financial. I am experienced in dealing with abuse in a relationship and have prosecuted and defended numerous cases brought under the Georgia Family Violence Act, in addition to handling it in the divorce case itself. The protection of my client and the parties children is my highest concern.

We are able to help you with every aspect of a divorce, including but not limited to:
  • Determining what is marital property and what is non-marital, whether an asset was yours prior to the marriage or given to you as inheritance or gift.
  • Property division, equitable division of assets
  • Child support, spousal support (alimony)
  • Child custody and parenting time (visitation)
  • Domestic violence, protective orders, restraining orders
  • Post-decree modification of child custody, parenting times, child support and alimony
  • Legal separation (separate maintenance), drafting separation agreements and settlement agreements.

I have experience in representing both the moneyed spouse and the unmoneyed spouse.
